Subprocessors
Last updated 1 August 2026
The third parties that process data on our behalf for the hosted service. We will announce changes to this list before they take effect.
CalSync is open-source software. This document describes the managed service and is provided as a template for self-hosted deployments — it is not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before publishing it as your own.
Infrastructure
Application hosting and the managed Postgres database are operated within the European Union. Backups are encrypted and stored in the same region.
Calendar providers
Google, Microsoft and Apple are not subprocessors — they are the sources you connect directly, under your own agreement with them. CalSync acts on your behalf using the access you grant and can be cut off by revoking that access.
Email delivery
Transactional email (booking confirmations, sync failure alerts) is delivered through an EU-based provider. Message content is limited to what the notification requires.
Self-hosting
A self-hosted instance has no subprocessors other than the ones you choose. This list applies only to the managed service.
